5 Days Away

I have been rather silent lately. The Habs off season has been meh at best. I am always guarded in my optimism when it comes to my Habs. I find it much easier psychologically to be pessimistic of my team's chances. It is much better to be pleasantly surprised, for me, then it is to have my heart broken again by misguided hope. All that said, I looks to me that, with yet another quiet off season from "Stand Pat" Bob, it is going to be a long season for we in the Habs Nation. They have not gotten any better, and yet they probably aren't any worse. They are mediocre, and we the fans have sort of got used to that, haven't we?

Breezer, bashing instead of Souray bashing this season. Oh and I am loading up on my Bou Bou ammunition as well. Blargh!

1) yeah Joe, who are ya gonna harp on this season? LOL Souray and samsonov are gone!
2) Guess you guys have 1 remaining 'enigmatic' Russian to get pissed at.
3) If the kids develop, Huet stays healthy for the entire year, the Habs are probably as good as any of the other bottom 4-5 teams compering for the last 3 spots

Joe, your Habs have as good a chance as any to make the playoffs... Can you conclusively say that Atlanta, Toronto, TB, Washington, NY Islanders, Boston, Philadelphia or NJ are heads above Montreal? No way... Postseason is certainly attainable, although I wouldn't be so willing to predict any playoff successes...

Have a great season, and I look forward to your ongoing comments regarding your newest whipping boy/s...
